Post by: King KoolBox on July 21, 2013, 11:35:26 am
New system:

You answer the questions, there is 5. You can score a maximum of 50 points per question (I rate it). Then, if you get over 210 points, you go to voting.

Questions:

1. What are the powers of a moderator?
2. How mature are you, and why do you think this?
3. Can I trust you? Why?
4. How much will you log in?
5. If you are unable to log in for a certain amount of time, what will you do before you go offline?

ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN PARAGRAHPS OR YOU WILL BE INSTANTLY DENIED.

1. What are the powers of a Moderator?
It varies from forum to forum. Sploder has a different system, and since this is new I am not sure so I will explain the Mod system from my forum. Moderators can see most boards and can do a variety of things. They can lock topics, sticky topics, remove, move, and the usual that LT+ can do. They can access the Moderator Centre and moderate fellow members of the forum. They can warn users if they have committed an offence, ban them if it is major. They can also choose a selected time for the ban. E.g. 2 weeks. And also partial ban, which is cant register, log in or post. They can view a log in Moderator Centre outlining or logged in all the activities used on topics. (Sticky, move, delete).

2. How mature are you and why do you think this?
I believe I am one of the most mature people on this forum, and I definitely have proven myself. I have done many things, and always been of help to all forums I join. (Unless they are really Agro at me) I always follow the rules to the best of my abilities, and I have never broken a forum rule before. (Unless the unknown rule was never specified before my action was carried out). On all the forums I have always been a Moderator+ and on 7 (last count) an Admin. I never act brashly and always consider my options before acting. I consider which would be the best for the situation and then act on it.

3. Can I trust you? Why?
As I stated in question 2, I am very mature and have never broken (a specified) rule. I always admit defeat or my mistakes. I never do anything negative towards other members or to aggravate other users. I enforce rules, not break them. If everything I've done for this forum so far is an indication, then that is only just a taste of my myriad of abilities.

4. How much will you log in?
I log in everyday, even if I have school work. It's because I am dedicated to helping people and I simply meant to enjoy myself without being teased for anything personal. Being online is a way of being yourself, and as clause 48 sub-clause 2 of the international cyber sites rule (yes I studied this last week) we, Internet users, have a right to feel safe.

5. If you are unable to log in for a certain amount of time, what will you do before you go offline?
It's simple, I will notify this forum or you,KB, as soon as possible after I receive the news. If I cannot then I will ask for a demotion as I could not manage to convince my parents to let me use my computer for a few minutes. Usually this would not happen. And when I get back (or prior to leaving) I will graciously apologize to fellow users.

~ Becky
P.S. Didn't you say this had to be in paragraphs? Martin's is not paragraphs.
